Dual Line Lubrication Systems are typically used in applications where a large number of lubrication points need to be lubricated from a single source. Typical application areas are sugar mills, melting plant, rolling mills, mining, power stations, cement works, breweries, stackers, reclaimers, etc.
Dual Line System as the name suggests consists of two main supply lines which are laid parallel to the equipment to be lubricated. Inlets of dose feeders (grease distributors) are connected to these two lines and the outlets from the feeders are connected to points of lubrication. The pump feeds grease alternately into the two main supply lines through a reversing valve. This alternate pressurization and relieving actuates the dose feeders making them dispense required quantity of lubricant.
